I installed the most recent version of Bytetuner today, but eachtime I open up the application, a message appears informing me there is a new version of bytetuner and asking if I want to download it. I dunno whats up but the app works fine, but its kinda annoying

For some reason we were not getting notifications of posts recently. We'll email you a link to download the most recent version of ByteTuner.

I updated mine and at first thought the license was bad but figured my switch was set wrong.

I get a message now when attempting to upload a file warning me that my cable (which I used at least a dozen times before the upgrade) drivers or firmware aren't up to date and that it might cause problems. I would have taken a screen shot, but it disappears after a couple of seconds.

Never had an issue with the cable before. It's the same cable I use for INPA.

I went ahead and uploaded the file. It loaded fine. The second time I tried uploading the same file after editing again it said unable to upload. I shut it down and restarted everything, then it worked fine. I hope this is just a one time thing. I always have a high quality battery charger connected showing 12.8V in the software when uploading and downloading.

Ver. 1.13.0

When ByteTuner started supporting MSS6x vehicles (v1.13.0), we added this popup. For MS45 tuning, this is simply a warning as using cables which don't have upgraded firmware pose minimal risks. Even if you do have a failed flash from a cheaper cable, MS45 can easily be recovered.

However, for MSS6x DMEs, cheaper cables without upgraded firmware are a guaranteed way to brick your DME. The reason we left this warning active on MS45 vehicles is because we have noticed some people have issues with cheaper cables. However, some people don't have any issues as you've noticed. We're also thinking of adding a switch in the settings which will disable this popup warning for MS45 vehicles as it's somewhat annoying as you've also noticed.

I was hoping that was the case. Thanks
