After a spirited canyon drive in my 1995 M3 (s50b30US engine) ended with a blown engine I decided I'd tear into it and see the damage. Upon discover an "S" curved exhaust valve completely off its keeps, and significant damage to several cylinder walls and pistons it was clear it would need some serious care. This is my first real engine build so I'm learning a lot as I work through this project.
The plan is to eventually go for some cams and possibly solid lifters and keep it a moderately high revving NA build.
The engine/components were professionally machined, balanced and reassembled.
Current Engine Build Components

-Bimmerworld e36 3 series track pipe kit by magnaflow, 176.18.536.0001
-stock muffler (for now)
-AEM 30-0300 X-Series Wideband UEGO AFR Sensor Controller Gauge
Intake/Fuel
-3.5" MAF
-cold air intake with K&N filter

I'm just getting started with the tuning and hope to have it all dialed in by spring.

Here are some pics of the build. I'd add more, but 5 is the limit per post.
