Ms43 RS4 maf low voltage setting

Post by sparkyae »

Hi guys hope you all well,

Got a bit of an issue with my rs4 maf on my b30.
Air flow at idle fluctuates between 12-16kg/h this makes it idling horribly and stalls as soon as i touch the throttle gently.
If i remowe inlet tubing everyghing is fine and airflow goes up to 18-19kg/h. Question is how do i tune the restriction caused by smaller turbo inlet and which maps are there to adjust... tubing from intercooler is 3", icv installed, atmospheric dv also installed before maf.

Thanks guys have an awesome day

Have you modified the idle spark/fuel tables? What about VANOS near idle? Sounds like you need more torque at idle to overcome the added restriction in the intake. As a last resort option, you could also tune the idle speed.

Another thing to try is to ajsut the TPS angle at idle to get a bit more air into the engine, but that might cause a slightly high idle, but at least it won't sputter nearly as bad
